Went out and caught blue crabs on 5/31. We used a ruler with fish string and a chicken neck to catch. It was definitely interesting and something out of my comfort zone. We were looking for males and of course I didn’t have any idea on how to tell so Erin googled for me so I can see. The ones we caught were put in a bucket with a filter for oxygen. I was surprised that I enjoyed this 🙂 It was extremely educational not just to catch them, but to see everything that was involved in the clean up. We had to make sure no string was left behind for the seagulls to choke on or get caught up into.
